Original era manufacture. Polished steel blade with a 1900 date on the ricasso, scattered surface spotting and an intelligent sharpening job on the edge. Steel patina finish to the guard and pommel, original finish to the wooden grips which show marring and wear from age and use. This bayonet came with a leather picket pin carrier acting as the sheath. There is a cut in the surface on one side, otherwise sound.
