Original era manufacture. Bright polished steel blade with a 1900 date on the  ricasso, no issues beyond normal age and wear.Steel patina finish to the guard and pommel, lacquer finish to the wood grips which displaying typical marring and denting from service use, no cracks or chips. Steel patina finish scabbard with a dent in the body near the tip. Evidence of scattered surface corrosion, with a matching finish to the steel belt carrier.
