Original era manufacture. Bright polished steel blade with a 1902 date on the  ricasso, no issues beyond age darkening to the blade surface. Steel patina finish to the guard and pommel, original finish to the wood grips which displaying typical light marring and denting from service use, no cracks or chips. Most of the original blue finish remains on the scabbard, with no dents. Some evidence of very light scattered surface corrosion. For some reason the throat rivet is missing. All in all a very clean 117 year old US issue bayonet.
