Original period manufacture. A very clean example, 28 inch chromed finish blade with etched panels on each side. English style makers mark with a tiny disc marked "PROVED"on the reverse of the ricasso. Chrome finished guard, black composition material grips. Chrome finished steel scabbard which is dent free, displaying scattered areas of surface bubbling to the chrome.Presented to Capt Seth B Robinson Jr. by Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers of HQ BTRY & C.T. 1st BN, 101st FA.Retailer marked by Rosenfield Uniform Co of Boston, MASS
