Original period manufacture. Issue enlisted belt which has been period modified for field service, with the addition of 34 leather loops for .45 caliber pistol ammunition. In addition, eleven metal grommets were added to the bottom of the belt, two of which are fitted with brass hooks. An IW period sabre strap slide has been mounted to the belt to attach a removable sabre hanger. The belt is size marked 38 and the leather remains very pliable, displaying honest service use and wear. Cool belt.
