Original era manufacture. A sound example with a blue finished blade, guard and pommel. SA 1912 on the reverse ricasso, US with serial number on the obverse. The blade shows wear to the finish but retains a sharp point, with a very light and properly darn sharpening to the edge. Mix of blue and steel patina to the guard and pommel, wood grips are worn smooth with an oil finish, showing typical denting and marring from service wear and use.
