Original era manufacture. A very sound example featuring a dark finished blade with clear markings on its ricasso, obverse US 1044947, reverse, SA Ordnance Bomb 1918. Matching finish to the guard and pommel, rough hewn dark walnut grips. The blade is very clean with no issues beyond light age and wear. The wooden grips are also quite sound, just showing light wear and use. Lock button works properly.
