Original era manufacture. I have seen these referred to as both a 1906, or 1912 model bayonet, intended for use on a fencing musket for bayonet fighting instruction. This example is marked R.I.A. and dated 1914, with the inspector's initials of H.E.K. Measures 19 inches overall, with a 16 inch leather covered, flexible blade and padded end. The stitching is intact, nice luster to the leather surface, overall a very clean example.
