Original era manufacture. Light olive green canvas bandoleer with brass fittings throughout. The brass tongue of the adjusting belt is MILLS marked and the last patent date is 1914. Faint MILLS inkstamps on the reverse side of the belt itself.All of the eagle-snap pocket closures are intact and not pulled through, the color remains strong throughout. There is some staining to the flaps of several of the pockets, and the bottom edge of the lower pistol pocket, shows an old glue repair to some fraying. A scarce bandoleer to find in any condition, ideal for a Punitive Expedition display.
