Original era manufacture. Right and left, tan canvas pouches designed for dual use by mounted and foot troops. Clean set with the central attaching strap included. Light wear and use with some scattered staining to the canvas surfaces, and scattered fraying to the edging; the canvas is sound. Scarce set, clean, with very clear markings. A long time friend, and fellow collector Bob, has advised that he has also seen these listed in a WWI Medical Department as issue items. Evidently they were handier for field use than the 1910 pattern haversack. Thanks Bob!
