Original era manufacture. A massive, last pattern issue US Cavalry sword, often attributed to George Patton.All chrome finish to the metal surfaces, reportedly for use as a parade sword for officers.The blade measures 35 inches in length, with a slight "wiggle" about midway down its length. Chromed basket guard, backstrap and pommel with black hard rubber grips.Chrome finished steel scabbard with two suspension loops, with a small dent just above the drag.
