Original era manufacture. A very clean example of the US M1917 bayonet, made by Remington, and date 1917. The blade is very clean, with an even parkerized finish to the blade, guard and pommel, and original finish wooden grips. Green plastic scabbard with a metal parkerized finish throat,marked U.S. M-1917. BA. INC, for use with a variety of trench shotguns. Light staining to the steel throat, very clean scabbard body with no issues.
