Original era manufacture. Three piece medal with its original ribbon intact, with stitching loosening up on one side.Colorado provided 1,487 troops for border service in 1916, being stationed at El Paso Texas, and Deming New Mexico. Of interest, Colorado issued medals with an assortment of ribbon colors, depending on the service branch of the soldier.
