Original era manufacture. Full size, wrap brooch suspension medal, numbered on its edge 22042, clean, normal age and wear.This medal was awarded to Benjamin H. Eggleston, QM Sgt, QMC, Fort Constitution N.H.He was a career soldier; born in Ohio ina 1888. In 1916 he was stationed at Fort Kamehamea T.H. with the 164th C.A.C.. In 1919 he sailed from Bordeaux France as RSM of the 163rd Infantry Brigade. During WWI he was credited with the clasps for St. Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne & Defensive Sector.Good potential for further research.
