Item #67481 : Original period manufacture. A wonderful pair of 19th century Army Color Sergeant chevrons. Individually sewn ribbed blue silk chevrons, with crossed American flags on a blue wool center. Each flag has a gold wire fringe to their ends with gold wire flagstaffs and tassles. No moth damage to mention, fading to the stripes as shown. Possibly Civil War, but I feel more likely these are slightly later.
