Original era manufacture. A well made sword, likely of German manufacture, which measures 9.75 inches in length overall. Portions of the brass scabbard are painted black to simulate leather as found on the full-size swords, brass grip and guard with a white painted grip. The blade is double engraved with nautical motifs and US NAVY on each side.
