Original period manufacture. Handsome cast brass buckle with a pronounced curve to the body. Attractive brass patina finish, unusual in that the stars in the design have six points rather than the usually seen five. The right side edge (viewing) of the buckle is slightly curved rather than straight. On the reverse. Old collectors tag on the reverse.
