Original era manufacture. Regulation style buckle of gilded cast brass with a loop and catch on it's reverse. There is a slight "bump" on the lower edge as shown. Written in pencil on the buckle's reverse is what looks to be "Baptist Boys", perhaps a church youth group. These buckles saw a variety of uses by fraternal groups and others in the late 19th and early 20th centurys. Normal age and wear.
