Original era issue. A large size letter mailing envelope sent by the Pennsylvania State Commission, Gettysburg PA, to an individual in New York. Clear Gettysburg cancellation dated June 24 1938. The main events occurred between July 1st and July 4th 1938, and were attended by over 250,000 people. Attending were 25 survivors of the battle, and in addition 1,359 Federal veterans and 486 Confederates.
