Original era manufacture. A very nice condition reunion ribbon, which is complete with its suspender, and photo medallion. Maker marked on the revere, very light age and wear. The 126th New York Infantry mustered in to Federal service in August of 1862, and served with the Army of the Potomac throughout the remainder of the war. Gettysburg, Wilderness, Spotsylvania, Cold Harbor, Siege of Petersburg, Appomattox Court House. They suffered the loss of 276 of their number due to battle deaths and disease.
