Original era issue. US post Civil War 31st National Encampment, Buffalo, NY 1897 GAR delegate badge. A very elaborate badge with enameled decoration. in 1897 the GAR mustered 319,456 members, with 1122 delegates attending the convention. Old repair to the original ribbon, a very attractive badge.
