Original era manufacture. A large format gold painted oval wood frame with a domed glass cover. Inside is a large pattern GAR membership medal which measures just over 11 inches in size. It is flanked by two normal size GAR badges, and in an arc below, are five bronze planchets from GAR reunions and encampments. The frame measures 17x23 inches, this would make a great display centerpiecefor a Civil War or GAR display.
