Original era manufacture. A Four section ladder badge with it's original Whitehead & Hoag suspension ribbon. This medal honors the 1920 National Encampment of the Grand Army of the Republic held that year in Indianapolis Indiana. Membership of the GAR in that year stood at 103,258, in 44 Departments represented by 1260 officials.
