Original era issue. GAR 28th National Encampment Badge, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 1894. Complete with keystone drop and original ribbon. In 1894, the GAR boasted 369,083 members, with 1153 delegates attending the convention. These medals were produced using the metal from a 12-pound cannon cast in 1842. Fraying and stitch repairs to the bottom of the ribbon.
