Original era issue. US Post Civil War Gettysburg 1913 Reunion badge for a soldier from the state of Michigan. Measures 8 inches in length, showing wear and fraying to the ribbon material. The Gettysburg 1913 Reunion, was the largest combined GAR & UCV reunions, honoring the sacrifice of the Battle of Gettysburg in 1863. Over 50,000 elderly veterans attended, including 8,750 former Confederate soldiers.
