Original period manufacture. Attractive Civil War veterans ladder badge, as worn by A.G. (Anthony) Rhoads, who served in Company B, 93rd Pennsylvania Infantry. A resident of Berks County Pa, he enlisted on the 27th of October 1861 in Company B, 93rd Regiment, suffered a gunshot wound to the left hip, and was discharged 24 January 1863. He later served with the 196th Pennsylvania in 1864. He died in 1916. The catch is missing from the attaching pin, otherwise sound.
