Original era manufacture. A National level, Past Officer GAR membership medal with the gold edging to the American flag ribbon.The central bar displays two gold oakleaves, indicating past status as a Junior Vice Post Commander, Surgeon or Assistant Inspector.One arm of the star is stamped with the numbers and letter, W7633. Blob of old glue on the suspension pin, from being placed in a display at some time in the past. A sound old medal otherwise.
