Original period manufacture. Nickel silver ladder badge as worn by a member of Company I, 32nd Ohio Volunteer Infantry. The 32nd Ohio served from July 1861 to July 1865 and saw numerous engagements in the campaigns of the West and lost 240 men to battle and disease. Light age and wear.
