Original era manufacture. A very attractive large size memorial ribbon and medal as worn by a member of the John Buford Post 243 in Rock Island Illinois.The ribbon measures eight inches in length including the fringe, and displays a 57 mm GAR star in bronze colored alloy. The ribbon is reversible, black silk on one side for mourning, and red-white-blue silk on the reverse for normal wear. Normal age and wear with no issues.
