Original period manufacture. A fine quality bronze medal from one of the lesser known post Civil War Veteran's Societies, Union Veterans Legion. Comprised of Union Veterans who volunteered for service prior to 1863 (pre-draft) and who served for at least two years. This example was worn by a representative of the UVL encampment held in Buffalo New York in 1895. Measures 90 mm in length.
