Original era photography. A very interesting glimpse into the life of a 19 year old young man as he enters the US Army after receiving his induction notice. There are 93 photos and postcards of his early service time, with most of the photographs identified as to content. He had an eye for content and photographic composition, as these are not the typical tourist-type soldier photos. Good GI training view of Fort Ord and areas around Fort Sam Houston in Texas. Front cover missing.
