Original era manufacture. A nice quality pair of bookends in the form of the famed Star & Indian Head design of the US 2nd Infantry Division. Green and bronze finish over weighted spelter. Each book end measures 4 x 6 x 2 inches, with the lettering Second Division above the base.Purchased from the daughter-in-law of a WWI veteran who served in the 2nd ID during WWI. We have used these for many years, but in the great renovation of the hacienda this summer they just didn't fit any longer. We needed a heavier set of bookends for a particular book display. Normal age and wear.
