Original era manufacture. Commercially produced cannon cigarette lighter maker marked DEMLEY on the bottom. Supposedly based on a Marklin Toy Company cannon design, and then fitted with a cigarette lighter breech mechanism. To operate the lighter you simply pull the chain, and the breech opens up igniting the wick and voila! a cigarette lighter. It operates as it should, but needs a flint and fuel. Measures 9.5 inches in overall length, with a camouflage-like finish. All metal construction, online sources state these date around the 1940's.
