Original era manufacture. Souvenir medal produced to celebrate the dedication of the site of the future Liberty Memorial Museum in Kansas City. The ceremony occurred in 1921, honoring the sacrifice and service of those who served in WWI. The Liberty Memorial Museum still exists today, however renamed in 2014 as the National WWI Museum & Memorial, and is considered one of the preeminent Great War Museums in the world. Original silk ribbon, displaying minor fraying.
