Original era manufacture.A very sound example with light wear to the surface finish, clear markings on the reverse, Q.M.C. JEFF. 1923, and the inspectors initials, H.E.K.The lift-the-dot pattern snap closure works properly, with minor verdigris staining. The pouch has not been overly oiled, or crushed.
