Original era manufacture. A nice quality knife made from leftover parts from WWII. Six inch plated steel finished blade showing honest wear and use, but no damage, with an awkward attempt at a sharpened edge. Elongated steel oval guard marked KA-BAR, Olean NY. Sound stacked leather grip with brown plastic collars top and bottom. Thick circular pommel cap showing a rectangular tang. Stitched and riveted brown leather sheath with an intact pommel strap. The leather is supple, showing scratches and scuffing to the surface, intact and pliable pommel strap.
