Original era manufacture. This pattern sword was originally adopted prior to the Civil War and remains the regulation pattern dress sword today. US made blade of bright chromed steel with etched panels on each side. Leather covered steel bodied scabbard with some minor surface scuffing. The grip and binding are intact and very nice. Very clean, quality sword.
