Original period manufacture. Cotton embroidered, cut-edge patch which does not glow under a UV light. New condition. A proposed design for SCARWAF units, being US Army Engineer and Signals units, loaned to the USAF after its formation in 1948. This was never approved for wear by the US Army institute of heraldry.
