Original era manufacture. Authorized by the Navy Department in August 1940. Two separate issues, July 1937-September 1939, and again September 1945-April 1957.Crimp brooch medal complete with its original ribbon, manufactured in the 1950's. Marked on the reverse United States Marine Corps. Ribbon faded from age.
