Original era manufacture. Polished steel finish bayonet with a A US stamped at the base of the blade. 9 inch flute beginning at the point, 16 inch overall blade length. T-slot cut into the socket, 20mm opening for the barrel which appears to be slightly elongated from age and handling. Clean, no pitting issues.
