Original era manufacture. A very nice example of the Rifleman's Flask, also known as the Peace Flask for the shaking hands design on each side of the body. This example is complete with its adjustable powder measure spout and the two carrying rings on the body. Marked N.P.AMES and dated 1838 on the base of the spout. No dents, or split sides, a very sound example with a very nice patina finish.
