Original period manufacture. M1912 experimental picket pin which can do double-duty as a lightweight hammer, with its proper russet leather carrier.The pin itself is in very sound condition, with minimal corrosion visible, lots of black paint remaining. The carrier itself is sound, and is complete with all straps and fittings, pliable leather exhibiting surface dryness. Tough Cavalry accessory to find anymore.
