Original era manufacture. Tan canvas haversack with a very clear U.S. stencil on the flap cover.On the reverse of the haversack are two brass hooks which allowed the haversack to be attached to the Infantrymans cartridge belt.Dated 1904 with the button-in cloth insert.A very sound example in very clean condition, showing some staining on the reverse.
