Original era manufacture. Light olive green haversack which is Rock Island Arsenal marked and dated on its interior. Can't make out the date, but will make our guess to be 1914. The pack is very clean, no holes or tears, just a bit of staining on the round bottom, lace-on meatcan pouch. Perhaps from a leather strap. At some point in its past a later era pack extender has been installed with a leather pull strap. Nice and clean, very scarce set-up.
