Original era manufacture. Brown leather belt pouch with an embossed US on the cover, Rock Island Arsenal 1905. Typically these are found with a wooden block inside drilled to carry 12, .38 pistol cartridges. Brass closure stud on its front with an embossed US on the flap closure. The pouch has not been crushed or heavily oiled, few minor tears in the edge of the flap, overall it displays well with clear markings.
