Original era manufacture. A sound, black leather .38 revolver holster produced at Rock Island Arsenal and dated 1910.The holster is complete, the body is not crushed, stitching is sound, and the bottom plug is intact. The leather surface is dark in color, with unit markings on the securing flap.
