Original era manufacture. A sound brown leather holster with an embossed US on its body, clear markings on the reverse of the belt loop, Rock Island Arsenal, and inspectors markings of HEK The leather is very sound, slightly stiffened from age, but is not crushed or broken, the tip plug is present with a steel loop for a leg tie.
