Original era manufacture. Nice old pair of gold wire trimmed Captain of Signals shoulder straps. Orange wool centers with a thin white stripe on the inside of the frame. The reverse is of black silk with a silver stenciled logo for the firm S.N.Meyer Washington D.C., who established his business in Washington as early as 1868. Upon the older Meyer's passing, the son N.S.Meyer, changed the name to reflect his initials, a name most insignia collectors are very familiar with. The straps show normal age and wear with no real issues.
