Original period manufacture. Tan canvas bandage pouch with a double snap flap, and a removable 1910 pattern belt hook. At some point in time the original thin wire mounting hook was removed a replaced with this later example. Readable maker and date under the flap, RIA 1905. Tan paint on the cover, applied by the army to cover an old issue mark, a common practice on recycled equipment.
