Original era manufacture. A russet leather pouch with clear markings on its side, Rock Island Arsenal 1908 T.C., and US oval on the cover. Stenciled onto the reverse is a pair of crossed rifles, with a 1 over D. Canvas loops on the interior for 20, .30 caliber rifle rounds . Normal age and wear, no damage, nice gloss to the leather surface, with scattered patches of surface dryness on the edges.
